Kelly's Background
After raising three children in the Bay Area and helping them navigate the stresses and pressures of being a student, I decided to become a Marriage & Family Therapist. For the past six years I worked for Almaden Valley Counseling Services helping teens and adolescents in the schools as well as adults in the clinic setting struggling with anxiety, depression and relationship issues.
My approach to therapy is to provide warmth and understanding to create a compassionate connection. My strength comes from my sense of humor, openness and relatability. We are all human, trying to be loved and accepted. I use client centered therapy, as well as cognitive behavioral approaches to help clients understand their deeper issues and improve their lives and relationships.
